foggidawn: I had so much fun picking cat books for you! If you want some more ideas, I also looked at the Flubby series by J.E. Morris, They All Saw a Cat and Inside Cat by Brendan Wenzel, Fluffy McWhiskers: Cuteness Explosion by Stephen W. Martin, the Splat the Cat series by Rob Scotton, and See the Dog by David LaRochelle. karenb: Not a real cat, but Nick Bruel's original Bad Kitty book works through four (4!) runs of the alphabet: two of food (e.g., "yak yogurt"), and two of the trouble that Bad Kitty gets into (and later makes up for). The shop seems to have only the hardcover "cat-nipped" edition for $20 (9781596432994). This first book led to a related series of shorter books (one of which is Xmas themed), which are more early readers than ABC books. (Dez. 3, 2023, 5:41am)
EerierIdyllMeme: - James Herriot's story Moses the Kitten is available as a standalone picture book. Also, a bunch of his cat stories are collected in Cat Stories, which has addenda to the stories as well. (Nov. 28, 2023, 6:52pm)
