Veteran's Day

For a great Veterans Day Baseball read, I'd like to suggest The Corporal Was A Pitcher: The Courage of Lou Brissie by Ira Berkow which I read earlier this year. The book describes Mr. Brissie's quest to succeed as a major league pitcher after suffering an extremely serious leg injury during World War II.
