The Cotton Country Collection from the Junior League of Monroe is standard fare for southern cooks everywhere.

Charleston Receipts from the JL of Charleston, SC, would be one of the main ones, along with Always Superb, Recipes for Every Occasion from the Minneapolis JL.

Oh. I love Charleston Receipts. So I guess I don't really have anything to add. I also have The Memphis Cook Book and River Road Recipes. I like them both.

In my ongoing quest to find something new for dinner last night I pulled out my copy of Celebrations on the Bayou from the Junior League of Monroe, LA. the Honey-Roasted Pork Tenderloin and the cheese grits were very tasty.

Another vote for Charleston Receipts. I also have one from my hubby's birthplace Kosciusko, Mississippi and it isn't Junior League (I don't think there was a junior league there), but the recipes are a hoot! A great deal of cream cheese and casseroles everywhere. Nothing I would want to eat, but fun to read.

Staying regional here, but two of my favorites are Market to Market by the Service League of Hickory, NC and Dining By Fireflies - Unexpected Pleasures of the New South by the Junior League of Charlotte, NC.
