I really love the tea ceremony but after attending a few and also learning how to do it, and also collecting tea ceremony bowls, I found the most interesting part was "after tea" when everyone loosens up and talks. Anyone ever feel like this?

I haven't had the experience of "after tea" when everyone loosens up and talks. Either its a class situation where we talk a lot during breaks or it is a formal ceremony and we all have to leave so the next sitting can occur. However, either way, chanoyu events (class or ceremony) are among some of my most enjoyable moments. My two sensei have an amazing ability to make everyone feel as if they are a special guest. Even if its my one hundredth class, I feel as if they're treating me like a long lost friend who's just returned from a far away journey. I hope that one day, I can do the same with people I meet.
