Hello! My boyfriend saw this and thought of me... I saw it and thought of this group! http://bzfd.it/evFwyW
I'm mostly loving it, but clearly no. 8 needs a LOT more books!

As usual, very artistic and design oriented. No practical, wall to wall, floor to ceiling ideas that most Thingamabrarians require.
Not to say that some aren't nice to look at though.

I like 15 very much. I thought it would make a good excuse to have shelves that do not back onto a wall.
ETA - I'm assuming it involves back to back shelves to give enough width to accomodate one's backside - you can't really see in the photo.

With a bit of modification the ring shelf might just be the solution for taking a sensible number of books with you on holiday. Or you could buy an ebook reader.

A non-mangled link to what I assume is the same site, for those who like me prefer to actually know where they're going:

I'd kind of like to have the "Upside-Down" or "Falling Books" shelf, just to astonish my friends.

If I were one or those minimalists who oppose owning more than 100 books for philosophical reasons, or I had endless space and didn't have to worry about efficiency, then I could see going for a couple of those.

I particularly like #13. Shelf With A Reading Nook & #15. Reading Pod Shelf.
#1. The Ring Shelf & #12. Yin-Yang are pretty cool too.
and I think that #19. Another Tree Shelf would be really cute in a children's bedroom.

That's a rather gorgeous bath tub. I particularly like the built-in back rest shown in the bottom photo.

#9 or as my mother says "crazy people talk"
#11 That is the tub for me. Of course I'd have to stock the shelves with cheap copies of books I love or have loved to death because the thought of all that humidity makes my head spin.

11 - Looks beautiful but I've never been one for reading in the bath - I think I'm afraid of dropping my books in! I would have called it the Bubblyotheque.
