I found myself really enchanted with the mysterious book-art popping up all over Edinburgh in support of libraries. I imagined some here might like it too- in spite of the uncomfortable fact it is made of books.

It looks like right now these are all anonymous gifts that a sort of protest about proposed funding cuts to libraries there. Surely there must be people on etsy or elsewhere making recycled book art, but probably not like these.

I don't know about etsy, but using books to create sculpture is pretty common.

Hmm, y'know, it occurs to me that these bear a strong resemblance to Blackwell's work, and she is in the UK.
