AIA Annual Meeting

Just got back from the AIA annual meeting in Philly. I really enjoyed the full range of subjects I was exposed to in the various presentations, although some of the presenters are compelling while others make you fantasize about dumping gasoline over your body and lighting it afire. Regardless, where else could you get exposed to top-notch cutting edge papers on Athens, Corinth, Egypt, Crete, the Hittites, the Carians, underwater archaeology and the use of panaromic photography in detailing archaeological sites. Great stuff!
