The naked and the dead

i finished it this weekend also. Has anyone else in our group read it? I never felt any affinity for any of the characters - they were all equally unlikable.

i think i had to read this way back when, before Nam even.

I take take or leave mailer, I liked The Ugly American, and Egypt, but the rest, i don't know ...

The book was okay ... what I really remember is hearing that it contained a lot of "rough" language before I read it ... I think it might be worth a PG rating now ... funny how standards change.
