New Holmes/Russell Book Coming!

I see that Laurie King has written another book for her Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes series, entitled Garment of Shadows.

After work today I went to the library to put in a reserve. It's due to come out in September, I think.

Well, bit late replying to this, but only just come back onto the site. I am only just starting to get into pastiches of Holmes. I have The Beekeeper's Apprentice to begin reading. King admits her Holmes isn't quite the same as Conan Doyle's, but I'm open to a good story if well written with a good plot. But married? Hmm. Ah well, I suppose even Holmes can succumb to a woman in time ..!

One of my best friends in the world is an avid Holmes fan, and loves the Laurie R. King books. He was the one who steered me to her Holmes/Russell stories. Because I read and loved those books, I wound up reading all the Arthur Conan Doyle books as well. :)
