Here is a site you can register with to get email alerts about book sales in your region:

Book Sale Finder - Your Online Guide to Used Book Sales
http://www.BookSaleFinder.com/
PO Box 452, Hudson, MA 01749
(978) 562-3400 or publisher@BookSaleFinder.com

I have been using it for about a month and it seems to work.

That's fantastic! I've never heard of such a thing ... and I wonder if there's anything similar available in the UK?

xenchu, I laughed out loud at your comment. It's perfect.

The last two days I have spent re-arranging my furniture to make stuff fit better. Know that I am a minimalist except for my books. That said, there are still books in piles on the end table, the dining table, on side tables . . . well, you get the idea. And then I came across this discussion and have signed up for their notifications.

What is it with us, anyway?
