2013 is of course the year that we've all been dreading (or looking forward to) regarding the Hall of Fame voting. While there have been some steroid-tainted players on the past few ballots, this year sees the appearance of several names who are otherwise can't miss candidates. In fact, there are at least two who would otherwise be first-year locks.
As opposed to asking who you would vote for, which players on this year's ballot do you think will get in, either this year or in the future? If you need to take a look at the ballot, you can see the candidates at Baseball Reference: http://www.baseball-reference.com/awards/hof_2013.shtml
Of the guys who are on this year's ballot, these are the ones who I think will eventually get in (in no particular order):
Jack Morris (the only guy I think gets in this year)
Jeff Bagwell
Tim Raines
Barry Bonds
Roger Clemens
Mike Piazza
Curt Schilling
Craig Biggio
None of the first-year guys will make it this year due to some combination of steroids suspicion and firstyearitis, but I think a fairly high number of them will eventually get in. Although next year doesn't look good for those guys either because there will be two guys on the ballot for the first time in 2014 who have impeccable first year credentials without the steroids taint: Greg Maddux and Frank Thomas. And 2015 is probably no good either since Randy Johnson will be a first-timer then.
