Any books anyone can recommend about anything around Paganism and magick??

If you're looking for a first book, try The Wicca Handbook, by Eileen Holland. It was the first book I read and I enjoyed it!

I recommend Paganism: An Introduction to Earth-Centered Religions by Higgenbotham.

Is there a specific area of Paganism you are looking for?

I highly recommend *against* Holland's "Wicca Handbook", for reasons I expand upon in this review:

As for getting started, I suggest two books:

Contemporary Paganism by Graham Harvey: This is an excellent study of some of the more popular neopagan religions. It's not so Wicca-centric as Adler's "Drawing Down the Moon"

The Four Powers: Magical Practice For Beginners of All Ages by Nicholas Graham: Introduces the reader to the models (energetic, spiritual, cybernetic, etc.) and paradigms (neopagan, ceremonial, Afro-Caribbean, etc.) of magic. Also includes exercises to help the reader figure out where s/he'd like to focus hir studies, since ther's a LOT of information out there.

EDIT: I totally missed the later comment that you were looking for advanced books. Check my book review blog above; I'll leave the 101 book recommendations I made in case someone's interested. (Teach me to not read all the way through before replying ;)

I really like starhawk's the spiral dance as a more begining book, but I still read it now. One of the few "advanced" general books I've found is her the twelve wild swans, which I'm still in the middle of reading the first time, but it is sort of an interesting expansion on the spiral dance. Mostly, for more advanced books, you won't find general books on wicca or paganism, but in more specific things: gardenwitchcraft, divination, meditation, totems, spells, rituals...

Pagan Paths by Pete Jennings is a great starting point on various traditions within paganism. From there, he gives places to read further on the path of your choice.

i just finished Green Magic by Ann Moura and even though i've been a wiccan practioner for 20 years i found it very helpful!
