In search of recent info on William Wise (1923 -- ?)

Dear LT colleagues. Given the strange proliferation of overlapping Groups on LT, I have chosen this one somewhat at random, though acc. to announced subject, as being a good place to start in my quest for recent info (say, 2006 -- present) on the immensely prolific author William Wise (CHRISTOPHER MOUSE, NELL OF BRANFORD HALL, PERFECT PANCAKES, THE KILLER SMOG, DINOSAURS FOREVER, etc). I was going to write a little piece on his earlier days, but have no idea whether he is still alive. I rather doubt it, but would appreciate anything you can supply beyond the few bits which anybody can find on the Internet. Thanks in advance! -- Goddard Graves
