So many members and so few playing. How about finding a word that rhymes with 'audacious?'

Adjective
Courteous, kind, and pleasant, esp. toward someone of lower social status.

I hope that you're not not telling the truth!

It's not 'mendacious' but I need time for luna's guess.

Hello, gorgeous! Someone said you were looking for me. Well, here I am; what were you’re other two wishes? I hope you don’t mind if I invade your personal space. BTW is it hot in here or is it just you?

I went to see a production of Mary Poppins a while ago - it's amazing how much fits into that bag of hers!

Not mendacious,genius,spacious.
Not generous or magnanimous.
Am I still short of one guess?

#8 I'm not sure you've got #7

The Very Hungry Caterpillar was a very good eater.

#9.expialidocious! ( If my spelling is correct.) Not that.
Jenni - I thought I was onto that with 'genie' Now I have to think again.# 5 has me stumped, but I'll get there!
# 11 not 'delicious.'

#11 wasn't "delicious."
The Very Hungry Caterpillar is still hungry!

#12 Very flattering calling me genius :-) but, while it may be true (ha), it doesn't rhyme with audacious :(

Oh dear, I'm losing this! Is #13 ravenous?
Is #7 capacious?
I had two answers for Jenni last night in bed and didn't write them down. Now I've forgotten them-sign of old age.
To recap, and I probably have all the good choices muddled up with the wrong ones:
Not mendacious, magnanimous.
Not genius, generous, spacious, expialidocious, delicious.

#15 Yes - #7 was capacious.

I think that you are very, very wise!

Clue for #5: Ian Parker once wrote that Wendy Beckett does this for Jesus.

Edited for clarity

I guess Jenni was being flirtatious and rodney is being obsequious. By the way, our daughter in law is about to have a baby so if I go missing for a few days that's the cause!

I obviously wasn't doing it very well :(

Congrats on your new grandchild! Hope everything goes well for mom and baby.

#18 Congratulations on you imminent grand child. As a new grandparent myself I'm really enjoying the experience. I may have been obsequious, but it was inadvertent. I had in mind being discerning and far-sighted.

#19 It was working for me! As a Dr Who fan I was getting full on River Song!

#20 in which case you are probably right. The word was perspicacious and I'm disappearing for a while!

It looks like I have been deemed to have won this round (although I was trying to suggest 'sagacious'). As oldstick has disappeared for while, I've taken up the baton over here.
