I have the 50 book Franklin/Oxford set (all leather), and I am not selling. But, just out of curiosity, how much do you think the set is worth (about 40 books fine, rest very good)?

I think the Franklin/Oxford books go for $80 each maybe less or more depending on the rarity.

Isn`t the Franklin Library - Oxford books, the leather editions of the Britannica series "Great books of the Western World" that Franklin published as an 25th anniversary edition.

Perhaps that's what cambook was referring to. These were, strictly from the standpoint of well made leather books, probably Franklin's best work. However, the selling price varies quite a bit based on the title - I haven't looked lately, but I'd expect from $20 to $100 or more.

Yes, they are the ones with a deep leather elaborate tooling, some have two leathers with different colours. I think there is 50 books in the series.

No that is not the Britannica set, I seem to have been mistaken. The Britannica set had 96 volumes in total, I think including multi-volume works which are quite a few.
