I didn't make any notes on this book, other than liking the line "Guys like us make fine corpses" on page 27, but I did really enjoy the book. It actually made me appreciate the whole pulp fiction thing and reading the history of it before reading the book just made you appreciate it even more, I think.
I don't know that I would GET the whole series, but I would certainly READ the whole series if it were available. Making each book in the series worth $10 was a bit of a wow for me, since I have books many times the size of these that aren't that expensive. The style of the book is good though, as you would imagine of the "pulp" title.
