I would love a list of current horror book forums so that I can scan and get some cool and horrific recommendations?...what would you recommend?

I like Monster Librarian. They have a lot of reviews and if you go to the Musings of the Monster Librarian there are a lot of really interesting links.

I actually get most of my recommendations from librarything itself. It's both and curse and a blessing as the TBR piles up.

But I would love to hear what/where others get recommendations.

runner56, what kind of horror do you like best? Shock horror, quiet/creepy, psychological, slasher/gory, novels, collections, mass market, small press, nonfiction? Who are your favorite writers? Different review sites and blogs tend to focus on some subset of all this, and it would be easier to recommend some if we knew what you would appreciate the most.

The Horror Writers Association's Reading List (https://www.worldswithoutend.com/lists_HWA.asp) is a great resource for exploring some of the classics of the genre.
