Looking for the most erotic books I read as a lad (~1990). Hope someone can identify title/authors for the group!
1 - a woman dies a virgin but as she is going to hell anyway, is given a chance to return to earth to try all type of sexual encounters. These include being gang raped in Central Park, then helped by a couple of cops afterwards, seducing the family priest, helping her brother to imagine a large breasted classmate.... Finally she returns to hell where she is imprisoned with a man who is not interested in sex.
2 - a woman travels to the australian outback to find her husband who disappeared. In one scene she comes close to being raped in a 4WD land cruiser by an aboriginal guide but escapes...
3 - set in the south of France... Strangely enough the title came back to me as I was writing this one. Côte d'Azur by Mike Angelo - available on kindle too

Wow you guys are good. Thanks for the title "the devil in miss jones". Spot on and a highly recommended book. Seems it was more famous as a film. The paperback availability is limited and doesn't appear to be a Ebook version.

There were actually many "one-time" members, the first thread was "I'm looking for a book I read ...."?, no acknowledgement of thanks received after giving the book title's information.
These people are making "LibraryThing" website, an "information desk" or "call centre" without having trying to find out the book title by themselves in the first instance.
These kind of attitude is really not to be encouraged.
There were actually many "one-time" members, the first thread was "I'm looking for a book I read ...."?, no acknowledgement of thanks received after giving the book title's information.

To judge a book by its cover, it looks like The Devil in Miss Jones linked above was written after the movie: the "novel of the banned erotic classic" ... not to say Mr. Danziger didn't do a decent job of it. Can't place the Aussie book - perhaps a loose riff on the Falconio disappearance?

Unforgettable scenarios from long-lost publications of one type or another are very much a part of my experience of erotica, and I'm always fascinated to hear about the scenes that have captivated other readers. The pseudonymous nature of much of the writing in the genre adds spice to the search, with the possibility of discovering a new writer with an extensive bibliography of salacious literary endeavor.
