I recently sent an audiobook to someone who gave me zero points, but didn't explain why. I e-mailed him, asking for an explanation, but didn't get a reply for a week, so I complained to BookMooch but have not gotten a reply yet (it's been over a week).

I give detailed condition notes, including when the item in my inventory is not the same as what's posted (in this case I posted it as a hardcover book, but explained that it was actually an audio CD summary of the book.) I also e-mailed the moocher, explaining that it was NOT a book, and included a link to the publisher. When he didn't reply, I asked him if he still wanted it; he said yes, so I mailed it to him. (Then I had to ask him if he had gotten it.)

That's the only reason I can come up with for this person's dissatisfaction, but I don't really know, and I want to keep my "customers" happy. But maybe it was damaged? Mislabeled?

What to do? Just let it pass? Give the Powers That Be another poke?

I wouldn't be happy if this happened to me either. It must be frustrating not to know what you did to get a zero.

But I'm not sure TPTB are the ones most likely to improve your situation. Personally, I'd ask the moocher again, and if he doesn't answer, leave a comment at the book's feedback. ("I asked an explanation for the zero points, but didn't get any".) And then leave it. Shit happens and this is not worthy of any more of your time and attention.

I have the same feelings about TPTB. Problem with commenting is that people won't see it unless they look.
