I just joined the group today, so am a little behind on the challenge. I'm borrowing my challenge from MissWatson's idea. On Sunday, the numbers are drawn and decide the categories to be read, which gives me a choice of 1 out of 6. There is also an additional number drawn (by which the jackpot is distributed, it represents the last digit of the ticket number, so they are 0-9). This will be my fallback if none of the six categories appeals to me in a week. The first draw takes place on 10 April 2016. Watch this space!
The 49 categories are:

You're moving, too? Good luck that everything goes smoothly!
17avanders
Yes, good luck w/ moving! I LOVE moving, but not ALL the parts that go along w/ it ;P
I love setting up a new space and all the possibilities it offers. I love going through my stuff and weeding out things I no longer use or need.
I don't love the actual physical part of moving, though... hopefully you have lots of help!

25indielamb
The numbers for this week are 4 6 11 15 17 24 , bonus 12. I am going to go with #11 - a classic romance. So I will read "Persuasion" by Jane Austen.
26Jackie_K
>25 indielamb: Ooh I read Persuasion a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it! Even though not that much actually happened :)
27MissWatson
>25 indielamb: Oh, I hope you like Persuasion. It's my second-favourite Austen. I have always had a soft spot for the Royal Navy...
28Tess_W
>26 Jackie_K: >25 indielamb: I hope you enjoy Austen. I'm not a fan! And Jackie, that's why I'm not a fan, nothing much happens. My friends, who adore Austen, claim she is more of a character study than a plot driven author.
29Jackie_K
>28 Tess_W: I think, of the Austen I've read, Persuasion is the book where the least happened! Personally I generally quite like character studies, so I enjoyed it very much, but I wouldn't say it was a favourite.
30connie53
>24 indielamb: Good to hear you loved it, indielamb!
32indielamb
I really enjoyed this one as well. Out of all of the Austen characters, I could most relate to Anne Elliot. When I was younger, I was very much like her. Now, I have much more of a backbone. :)
34indielamb

43indielamb
I know, I chose a short book, cause I'm going rafting with friends for 3 days, so hopefully I'll get it finished. :)
44Tess_W
>43 indielamb: Happy rafting!
45MissWatson
>41 indielamb: This is funny, I also went for number 48 this week! Mostly because it fits in with my Arthurian Britain reading. Happy rafting!
46indielamb
I love Arthurian stories. You will have to let me know how the Winter King is! I hope you enjoy it!
48indielamb
This is definitely not the scary kind of rafting. Just floating down a lazy river (the Red Deer River in Alberta). No rapids where we were. We'd have to go to the mountains for that.
49indielamb
he numbers for this week are 12 14 19 28 36 44, bonus 10. I am going to go with #19 - a popular author's first book. So, I'm going to go with Harry Potter & the Philosopher's Stone by J.K. Rowling (in honour of her new book coming out today).

59indielamb
The numbers for this week are 16, 25, 30, 32, 42, 44, 46 and bonus 45. I am going to go with #45, a play - Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany & Jack Thorne.
61indielamb
It was okay. As it was a play, there wasn't much character development. I'm afraid I found it disappointing. If I were you, I'd get it from the library. I haven't talked to anyone else who has read it, so don't have any other feedback.
62indielamb
Looks like I forgot to save my post from Sunday for the new numbers. My numbers from Sunday were 1, 9, 14, 22, 30, 37 and bonus 11. I went with #14 - a book written by someone under 30 - "The Opposite of Loneliness" by Marina Keegan.
