Has anyone tried out the new online version of the Chicago manual of style? The setup sucks! They have a new page for every numbered item. Given each page in the hard copy has about five or six numbered items, that's over 4000 individual pages on the site!

I expected it to be setup more like Wikipedia, with whole sections available as a long scroll down.

Yeah, I was so excited when I heard it was going to be an online edition! I ran to tell everyone at work. We got ourselves all set up and it's definitely been a disappointment. Boo hoo!!

Yeah what a con. They should've just stuck to large stacks of paper.

Well, that's a shame, because I find the paper version to be such a humongous pain to use. I'm lucky that I rarely have to use Chicago in my work; I rely more on AP.

I also have the hard-copy version, which is exceptionally long. I was hoping that the electronic copy would be more accessible, but seeings as it has even more pages, I am not going to bother adding to my list of secondary sources.
