Please HELP! I read this book on a loan about 15 years ago and i don't not remember the author or the title of the book.I have searched for the longest time to no avail. I Just remember parts of the story to the point where i left off. it is a historical romance with some suspense and mystery. Here's the story as I can best remember it:
The story starts off in England. The heroine (she has long curly red hair. lots of it and green eyes i think) has a useless drunkard father who wastes money. I think he tries to marry her off for money or some dubious reasons to an older terrible guy. she decides to dress up as a young man and runs away, catches a boat to Australia to try and find her brother who took a job at a ranch there. somehow (I don't call) she meets the owner of said ranch he figures out she's a girl and lets her have a job as a house-hand/ maid at the ranch.
On getting to the ranch she finds out her brother died- in some dubious/ suspicious drowning accident. she finds it suspicious because her brother was a good swimmer.
She is also seduced one night by the hero/ ranch owner who on finding out shes a virgin sends her away to another house owned by his family where his elderly aunt(or something of the sort) resides. I think the aunt figures out the heroine might be pregnant and decides she want to help her get the hero to fall in love with her.
Also the hero is engaged to some high class lady who is terrible and she is somehow connected to her brother's death and some other illegal matters going on around the ranch.
That's most of the details as i remember them. Sorry it's all jumbled up. ANY HELP is APPRECIATED.

Just joined the group today. I'm looking for three books from late 80s/early 90s.
1. Silhouette Special Edition?
US
(h) Pediatric Nurse Callie...gorgeous, personable with purple eyes.
(H) Dr Mark...pediatrician, amateur ventriloquist, sweet but plain and sensitive about his average looks.
The rub...Mark likes Callie but is intimidated by her physical appearance. He eventually asks her out.They start dating but his insecurity makes him doubt her sincerity, even though she really likes him. HEA ensues after all the typical romance novel angst.
2. Harlequin Regency or Georgian?
England. Sorry, can't remember any names.
(h) Oldest daughter, pretty, titled but poor/broke.
(H) Handsome, dour widower with 4/5 yo daughter.
H hires h as governess/companion. He provides for his daughter materially but treats her coldly and does not spend any time with her. H places her totally in care of the governess in a separate wing of the house. h calls him on his behavior. As the H/h get closer, he reveals that the little girl is the result of his dead wife's affair so he avoids/shuns her because she is a constant reminder of the infidelity. Later the governess realizes that the h and 'daughter' have a common defect (the first three fingers of each hand are the same length) which could only have been inherited from her father...then tears, apologies, HEA.
3. Candlelight Regency(?)
England.
(H) bored, rich, young gentleman
(h) poor young orphan (can't remember if she is the ward or a servant)
Kinda fuzzy but (H) and friends conduct a Pygmalion/My Fair Lady type experiment with h . H enlists the help of his friend Beau Brummel who designs all the h clothing/accessories and plans her outings/appearances. Of course the h becomes sought after and the H wants her for himself.
Sorry for the ramble. Please help.

I am looking for a billionaire romance book where a girl avg looking who was working at a ship port type island to save money for traveling / work meets a young hot guy sailing and resting there. She is very much aware about him and they end up having a one night stand which leads to her getting pregnant but the hero not aware about as he had left the place on his ship the next day. Skip forward to some years she barges in the hero's i.e her child's father's party as a caterer/waitress in an attempt to tell him about their child also at the same time wondering if he'll recognize her. The hero fails to remember who she is but later remembers she was the one night stand he had when he had left for a year trip sailing and had left a mark. Later they reconcile and the story is a happy ending .

Could someone please help me find one of my favorite all time love story? It's a classic, sweet, and warm-hearted romance book I've been looking for several years now. I think its a timeless story that was ahead of it's time that would hold it's own in our current time.

Heroine: Mensa member, high IQ, very smart who thinks of herself as a plain Jane (can’t remember her name)
Plot: they've been next door neighbors since childhood. The super smart heroine has always been in love with the hero but thought he was out of her league not knowing he’s always loved her too but she was too blinded by her insecurities to realize it.

Hello, I need help finding this historical romance book, that I forgot the name of.
The hero is tied up and blindfolded by mistress and the heroine finds him. The heroine pretends to be the mistress and kisses him, but he figures out that it is someone else and demands that she identifies herself. She tries to run but he has untied himself in the meantime and he tries to take off his blindfold. I don't remember what happens then.
I have spent hours and hours searching for this book but I have had no succes. Can any of you help me?
