Does anyone live close to South Dakota? Just wondering because everyone here hates books so I’m trying to find friends that live close to me that read that would want to hang out with me.

Have you explored whether there might be public library or bookstore groups near you?
Other than that, you’ve come to a good place here. Explore the Groups page and join a few that sound interesting to you. It doesn’t have to be just book interests. There are all sorts of hobbies and avocations represented.
Add some of your books and see who else reads like you - you’ll see “members with your books” on the right column of your profile page. Check out those member profiles and see where they hang out here.
