I saw one of them today:
I browsed through I Lie for a Living, and it looked rather fun.
Containing around sixty profiles, many of which only a page long, it's not really for those long-time history buffs looking for an in-depth read but more for the reader with a casual interest who wants a light overview of certain significant figures.
I'm somewhere between those two, so I just might pick it up. It certainly looks cute, and for a book that seems fluffy, it has gotten some good reviews online, including a couple of Web sites dealing with "the reality of espionage."
Anyone read the other International Spy Museum books like Handbook of Practical Spying or Secrets, Lies, Gizmos, and Spies? Anyone buying these for their kids? *grins*
