My goal this year was to read 50 of my own books that I have owned for at least a year, but I'm going to fail miserably. Thankfully, I have 72 DNFs, so combining that with my 38 ROOTs read isn't a failure. I've also gotten rid of nearly 100 books and brought in less than that, which is always my goal.

I also have 72 DNFs for the year so far. I would have read more books, but I broke my ankle in June and I was so tired while I was healing, so I skimmed through a ton of books and that's where most of my DNFs came from. I figured I couldn't do much else, so I may as well cull my book collection- and take as many naps as my four year old permitted me. ;-)

Currently reading: Christmas Revels by Mary Jo Putney

Thank you everyone!

I didn't read too much in February because I was busy getting my daughter's bedroom ready. It had been a storage room for far too long, so I had a lot of stuff to either move or get rid of. But she's all moved in now and got her big girl bed on Thursday. We have a bit of furniture to move around since the bed was a bit longer than we had anticipated, so we will do that later today. We also have to hang up some toy storage nets and buy a few containers for her small toys. I keep weeding out the toys, but we always have too many. ;)

I finally updated my list and gave a health update as well. I'm doing well now and I'm not only able to get around well now, but I've started walking for exercise again, so when the weather permits, I walk at least a mile per day. I've also started some light weight and resistance band training so I can be stronger.
