Does anyone have any theories as to what Eggman might refer to?

Someone mentioned that it could be East and West Egg from the Great Gatsby. I'm thinking it might be a reference to Humpty Dumpty.

Also, did anyone see the title of the book Locke gave to Ben to read?

I just realized the name of the episode was Eggtown. I can't believe I read that wrong...

By the way, I went back and watched that part of the episode again. The book Locke gives to Ben is called Valis by Philip K Dick.
