Strangely, the books themselves don't note the year of publication.
"Christmas Stories" by Charles Dickens
2 volume set, leather bound, one is red, one is green
Numbered set (2,000 were made)
Publisher: Walter J. Black
I've seen used copies listed with the date of 1950 or 1952, but nothing definitive.
I'm not trying to establish value (I just bought them and don't care to sell), just the history.
I've tried googling WJB but nothing useful turns up.
Any help appreciated.
