I thought it would be nice to start a new wishlist thread so that any of us taking part in VSS could post an updated wishlist to aid their Santa! I shall be having a think about mine and watching with interest to see what others post! :D

>1 kaggsy: Thank you for this. It's definitely worth doing - last year my clever Secret Santa sent me two hard to find books from my list.

Here's my wishlist of Viragos and Persephones!

VMCs:

George Egerton – Keynotes and Discorns
Elizabeth Gaskell – Curious, If Ture
Angela Carter – Several Perceptions

Travellers:

Bell Gertrude - The Desert and the Sown
Bird Isabella - Journeys to Persia and Kurdistan Vols 1 & 2
Cable Mildred - The Gobi Desert
David Neel, Alexandra - My Journey to Lhasa
Duff Gordon, Lucie - Letters from Egypt
Eberhardt, Isabelle - The Passionate Nomad Diaries of Isabella Eberhardt
Montagu Lady - The Turkish Embassy Letters
Moodie Susanna - Roughing it in the Bush

Persephone:

The Carlyles at Home - Thea Holme
Long Live Great Bardfield - Tirza Garwood

If Santa is looking, I'd also like to improve my collection of Emily Dickinson as all I have is a very slim old Faber of selection poems. I know there is controversy about her work being reformatted, and I would like to read more and in the format in which she originally wrote! :D

Most of the Virago authors are still more or less unknown to me so rather that wishing for any specific titles I'm hoping that my Santa would send me one of their favourites.

The Viragos I already own or have read are the ones numbered 22, 23, 35, 50, 56, 68, 127, 173, 222, 273, 341-346 (Austen), 357, 358, 359, 364, 410, 436, 474, 487, 537, 591, 592, 593, 607, 619, 620, 629, 685, 688, 691 in the collection tracker. I may also have read some of the Virago novels that are not listed in the tracker. Any other title from the VMC collection tracker would be welcome!
