The first Slightly Fox Pocket Edition is Rosemary Sutcliffe's Blue Remembered Hills. I've put my order in. Not read this memoir so looking forward to it.

Caroline did you see the request for suggestions of a favorite memoir, the one chosen getting a free subscription?

I did see that Deborah, I'm pondering, as obviously there are already nice editions of some I love.

ETA: Something very strange happened there as my entry appeared several times!

I cheated and ordered a used copy of the Sutcliff memoir from Amazon, but I seem to have gotten a bonus. It appears to be signed, though it could be a facsimile. It's a 1988 reprint of the Oxford paperback. I've also ordered The Little Girl and the Cigarette and Everyman's Rules for Scientific Living. What to read first? A good dilemna!

Blushes, I somehow just looked at the back of the book and saw the same signature reproduced there! Girl and Cigarette is a wonderful satire; I'm just finishing up Everyman's Rules and I love it too. Slightly Foxed is proving to be an unfailingly excellent source!

I just ordered my first SF edition (apart from the little Christmas book I have) - they sent me such a lovely flyer I'm finding it hard to resist subscribing but in the meanwhile I ordered A House in Flanders. It sounds much more interesting in the flyer than in the one review on LT.

I hope you like A House in Flanders, although I have it in paperback, I do collect all the SF editions at the moment, so nice to have it in these editions.

I received it, a lovely little book; they are all very collectible!
