How do I move some books in my collection from one list to another?

If you have entered books in your account that you want to move from one collection to another there are various ways to do this. Note first that books can be in more than one collection.
1) If you want to change the collection(s) that a single book is in, there are several places where you can call up a list of collection and click to add the book to or remove the book from that collection. I suggest using the main work page. You will find collections in the Your book information box. It is also possible on the Edit book page, or in your catalogue (Your books) if you have collections in the style you are using. Also on the Add books page for the last few books you entered.
2) If you want to do the same action to several books, go into Your books, and click on the Power Edit icon. It's a sort of lightning bolt. It should be fairly clear how to proceed. You should make sure to leave Power edit once you are done. I would first add the books to the new collection, then remove them from the old collection. The database is not happy if you try to remove an entry from all the collections it is in.

I did find the power Edit.
Perhaps I did not phrase the question well.
Currently ALL my books are listed under Your books
Now I would like to move some selected books from that to a new list .
How do I do that without having to type all the info again?
Kindly help.

You have the choice of several preset collections or can create new ones, and then move books into them. Try reading https://wiki.librarything.com/index.php/Collections (last edited three years ago, so some details may have changed.)
The tab 'Your books' will always be where you find them, but you can have different Collections that you can switch between there. Probably your books are now all in the 'Your library' collection.
If you want to move books easily to a different account, that is not possible.
