Reading progress in a book.

I read multiple books at a time. Is there some way on LibraryThing that I can track my reading progress by page number in a particular book so I don't forget where I left off or that I lose my place in my e-reader for whatever reason.

Historically there have been various similar requests, but nothing delivered yet that is specifically designed for easy display or reporting.

However, you certainly can use your Comments or Private Comments field for this, or even create a tag (though tags are most useful when aggregated, which this wouldn't do in any meaningful way).

I keep that information on my Profile page - easy to get to and easy to update.

The homepage Notepad module would work for this purpose.

Yeah. Would like this. It's one of those Goodreads features I'd like here. though I'd want percentages too so as to handle media without pages.

This would be a nice addition for some. In Goodreads you can also add a short comment/quotation that is "attached" to that location in the book and is saved in your "reading progress".
While we're at it, we could choose to update our reading progress using page number, percentage or hours/minutes (for audiobooks; the last option is missing on Goodreads).

On your Profile page, under "Currently reading" you would have "book title" by X (on page ... of ...), or something like that.
