Hello friends! For those that remember me, I am thrilled to finally have a computer again after a rough stretch! If you don't know me... yet... well let's have fun!

Just finished rereading Brandon Sanderson's wonderful Mistborn series! What a joy, I highly recommend it!

I don't know you, but I have been without the necessary electronics at times, so I know how frustrating that is. Pleased to meet you!

I remember seeing the name from older GD posts, before I became active on LT. I also am pleased to meet you.

We preserved your Hazmat suit in perfect condition, hermetically sealed on Funk and Wagnalls porch. (Wouldn't fit in the mayo jar.)

Pan-Galactic Gargle Blasters for everybody!

If i spent much time in a hazmat suit, there would be hermetically sealed funk all right.

Welcome back dude!

>1 mrgrooism: I was thinking of you the other day and wondering how you are! So good to hear from you again. For those of you not familiar with mrgrooism, he is a delightful person to walk around NYC with, as he so graciously did a few years back with me. I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the Big Apple.

Watch out for the Roombas, they've evooolved!

Holy crap! How is it that I hadn't seen this thread until just now?

Hey Groo! Damn, I've missed you.

Groo hasn't posted in this thread since May, 2020. That's why you may have missed it.

Thanks for that Clam.
Well that explains it. Back in mid-May, I avoided COVID-19, but got pneumonia instead -- the better of the two options, I suppose, but I had had all of the pneumonia vaccines to date the year earlier.

Bummer that he doesn't visit more often.

So glad our dear Groo is back among us. The Pan-Galactic Gargle Blasters haven't been the same.
