OK, I've got two and I'll add the third after some perusal. Maybe a cozy mystery set in a bookshop would be a perfect third option?

Emma M. Nutt Day - Ladies of the Lake by Caitlin and John Matthews (definitely a book about some powerful ladies!)
Ed. Nope. Only 2** and I had to stop reading it. I had high hopes for this book, but no.
Ghost/Spirit Festival Day - Murder of Angels by Caitlin R. Kiernan (and I'm bought this thinking of you, Carol, since I know you love those ghost stories. You inspired me!). ✔
Labor Day - The Movement of Stars set in Massachusetts, and it's about one of the first American woman astronomers. (May be able to finish between now and Wednesday??)

Ed. Added the third book which I've meant to read for years.
Ed.Ed. And finished in October, so I'll zip on over there for posting its review.

>3 threadnsong: Hope you enjoy your ghost story. Spirit festival Day was just too good to pass up:) I think I'll try your books. The descriptions sounds interesting.

>4 Carol420: I started it the other night and it seems to be the second in a duology, with the first being Silk. While I haven't gotten to the ghost part yet, the visions from one of the characters are certainly spooky. And the language! Loving it.
