Hi groupies! This is our final read for the year and it seems that we have sort of petered out! I just got the book for the library and am about 33% of the way through and it's very good--but I doubt that I will find one I don't like in this series.

>3 Tess_W: That's good news, I'll get to it before the month's out I think. Isn't it fun to have a good saga to read? I

>5 Tess_W: The series is highly 'bingeable.' I only have two books left and am trying to hold off on reading them until 2021 as I know I'll feel a bit sad when the I complete the last novel. Warleggan is quite eventful, in both good and bad ways. Characters don't always act in the manner we hope they will when faced with certain situations.

Is everybody enjoying Warleggan? He is quite a character, eh? That's the nicest thing I can say about him!

>7 Tess_W: Warleggan is a very interesting character, and I appreciate how well the author develops George, makes Poldark's nemesis more than a two dimensional cartoon.

>8 fuzzi: I agree -- I think George Warleggan is a character who becomes more complex and interesting as the series goes on. He's a villain but not just a villain, and I even find him sympathetic at times! But less so in the earlier books, definitely.
