Crossback apron (aka Japanese? style apron)

Anyone made one of these or have a reliable pattern they like? I want a commercial pattern instead of one I have to print and piece. I know most of the commercial pattern companies have patterns for these; but I'm looking for a pattern that someone has actually used.

I have not, but I've cut one or two old ones up!

I haven't either. And I'm pretty terrible about remembering to even wear an apron.

I’m also terrible at using aprons, and only really do it if I’m wearing something that’d be difficult to clean.

OH yes - tumeric!

It took me a long time to learn to use an apron routinely. I am less attentive to spatters and spills than I should be, and have the stains on clothing to prove it (spaghetti sauce, oil, and yes that pesky turmeric). It's less of an issue when baking.
