Patron library cards

Is there a way to make scannable barcoded library cards to identify a patron for check out? I can find barcode and QR code generators online but I don't know how to associate them with a patron. thanks

You can generate your own cards, and just enter the patron's barcode number/ID into the respective field for each patron. As long as you have a scanner that will read your barcodes, you should then be able to scan the patron's card (from the Check in/out page) to bring up the correct patron by their barcode/ID. You may want to test out one or two before generating all of them, but let me know if you have further questions!
