When I was a student and traveling in Europe in the '80s, one of my companions, a Spanish girl, told me about a novel about an English speaking student who goes to Spain and jumbles up the language and customs. She said it was very humorous. If you know the title and author, please post it. I also have posted on 'Name that Book', but since it is written in Spanish, I thought I'd have more luck here.
