>3 rabbitprincess: Good to see you! I have a new coworker who loves rabbits, so she reminded me of you. I'm on the computer almost all day at work, so I haven't been on LT much. I have your thread starred, but 185 posts are intimidating!

>4 spiralsheep: Thanks, you too! Interesting screen name.

>5 Tess_W: Thank you. Compared to the 12 in 12 Challenge which I almost completed (135 out of 144), 2 categories and 41 books is pathetic. LOL.

>6 MissWatson: Thanks. You have so many challenges, I don't know how you can keep them all straight. I couldn't even read through all the lists.

>7 MissBrangwen: Thanks, reading usually makes me happy, or at least lets me escape from reality.

Y'all inspired me to try the BingoDOG. I'm going to have to go back and see what fits each category. Some could fit multiple squares. Would Dark Archive count for Alternate History? It's more like multiverses - alternate worlds that are based on our world.

>10 BookLizard: I think Dark Archive would probably count as "alternate history." But if you don't want to use it for that square, it would definitely work for "dark or light word in the title"!

>11 christina_reads: Thanks. I just saw that alternate history is one of the tags, so I'm going with it.

>13 thornton37814: Thanks. The real challenge will be reading children's books. I regularly read YA fantasy, but I find many children's books to be too childish, if that makes any sense. I love a lot of picture books, but recent novels for children just don't interest me. I did manage to read The Keeper of Lost Cities which I regularly recommend to kids who like fantasy because I had so many other kids who liked it, but for me, it's a one and done. I liked it well enough while I was reading it, but don't feel the need to read any more books in the series.

I need to update my list and my bingo card, but I'm too tired right now. I had Covid last month and I'm still feeling run down. Wasn't serious enough to put me in the hospital, thank God, but I was out of work for 2 weeks. I haven't been that sick since I was a kid and never for that long. I still don't know how I got it. I'm guessing it might have been one of the more contagious variants because I wasn't doing anything differently than I had been since we came out of lockdown last June. Social distancing, wearing a mask, handwashing, etc. I have to wait a few months now before I can get vaccinated, but I've got antibodies! I feel like I'm on prison furlough. I've eaten out at a restaurant 3 times and went to IKEA! Woo-hoo! LOL.

Echoing Christina's sentiments, and hoping that to compensate, the antibodies are nice and strong to tide you over until you can get vaccinated.

Added a few more books to my bingo card.

Nature or environment: Field Notes from an Unintentional Birder by Julia Zarankin
You heartily recommend: Meet Me in Another Life by Catriona Silvey
About time, or time word in the title: In Five Years by Rebecca Serle
Impulse read!: Trust Exercise by Susan Choi

I'm reading more "grown-up" books lately. I usually read genre fiction because I like to escape reality. Meet Me in Another Life is really science fiction, and In Five Years has some magical realism. I put Trust Exercise as an impulse read because the title caught my attention and I saw it had won some award, so I borrowed it.

I wonder if "wind" counts for the classical element bingo square.

I'm holding on to The Personal Librarian for now since it has 2 authors but could also be used for the Arts & Recreation square.
