You can combine the unsplit authors, and then alias the subauthors on the split pages to the combined author page.
In other words, in this case you would combine Sophie Danson, Valentina Cilescu, and Anastasia Dubois, and then alias the works of Sue Dyson (1) and Zoe Barnes (2) to the resulting page.
