Work mentions in ignored groups

I'd been wondering why the "mentions" link on work pages usually shows fewer results than the number of mentions cited, or no results at all. I supposed it was because of deleted messages or threads but it turns out that mentions in ignored groups are not shown. I'd like this to be changed so that there's some way to see those conversations - if someone has said something about a work I'm interested in, I won't mind hearing it no matter it it's in a group I'm not interested in.
Right now I can't even see which ignored group the work has been mentioned in so I can't unignore it to find the conversation...

You realize many of these mentions are probably in the challenge groups and it is literally just a passing mention of that book, not a long conversation about it?

I'm glad this was brought up. It is well known that people use LT in very different ways, and some ways that we use LT may not be obvious to the developers.
Even challenge groups have group reads, and even mentions in individual's topics can turn into short conversations.
