I cannot get a touchstone for I Couldn’t Love You More: A Novel. Even if I remove A Novel, it does not find my book. The author is Esther Freud. I get a touchstone for the author.

Where are you trying to do this? I was guessing it had to do with the apostrophe, but I got it using all 3 types of apostrophes
edited: oops, just realized that the other two are different books, so this is most likely the apostrophe issue

Will it be corrected or is there some sort of work around I can try? I believe I only have one apostrophe on my phone. Have no other access to made this entry. Thanks.

>3 Micheller7: Could you give more details of where it's failing? Browser? Operating system? Are you clicking on the right to find it in the listing if it isn't the first selected book?
Where specifically is this failing?

>4 gilroy: I am using my iPhone. It says no results. When I take off the words A Novel, I get two results for the title, but neither of these are my book.

Guess what. I took off the ‘t and got results and lo and behold my book was listed. Got the Touchstone. But really something should be fixed to allow for the iPhone’s only apostrophe. I feel this qualified as a bug.

>6 Micheller7: You can turn off smart punctuation in your iPhone settings General > Keyboard > Smart Punctuation. Smart quotes/apostrophes are typographical (and therefore should be used in programs like Word or Pages). Straight quotes/apostrophes are not (and are industry standard in coding languages).

I can't reproduce this.

Tim, try this: I could’t love you more
That’s with the default iOS quote typed from the phone. If I let autocorrect fix it from couldnt instead of typing it, it works:

>10 AnnieMod: You left the n out of couldn't. Is that the problem?

Kristi, Can you confirm if this is true on an iPhone?

1. using an iPhone 8 with Smart Punctuation enabled from Keyboard Settings, go to https://www.librarything.com/topic/335298 on the mobile browser.
2. tap to post a message, and enter the Touchstone (with single brackets) for "i couldn't love you more"
3. tap (others) to look at all Touchstone options.
Bug: get options shown at >13 kristi_test_02: - not including the right work/title.
4. go to your Keyboard Settings and disable Smart Punctuation
5. go to https://www.librarything.com/topic/335298
6. Repeat step 2: the correct work is found automatically.
