A Room of One's Own (2017)

Hello, I'm new to the forum and new to Folio collecting. I'm trying and failing to track down the 2017 edition of Woolf's A Room of One's Own. It seems to have disappeared from circulation - I can't find any on the secondary market. I've had no luck on the Facebook selling group either.

Does anyone know why it's so rare? It has the same design as the first Hogarth press edition, so I wonder if it was snapped up by die hard Woolf fans who are reluctant to let it go!

That is odd, especially as it was in a sale ...

Some editions are like that - I'm guessing it was a smaller print run? Weird it wasn't more popular given the title and it looks to be a nicely presented edition. I have a copy of Miles Franklin's 'My Brilliant Career', which I don't see around much at all, but I understand that given the smaller Australian market/author interest, and the spine writing is around the other way, so perhaps that's also why.

Defunct Books of Nashville claims to have one, but only in "good" condition.

>1 nightdances: "First 29 matches from 152 sources" using vialibri.net (link to the specific search I ran).

Some of those are secondhand sellers on Amazon sites (which in my experience are, on average, a bit less reliable), but there seem to be a number of other options as well.

Edit: just noticed you specified 2017, and there was an earlier printing as well. Updated results: "2 matches from 152 sources" (link to this search). One more option, maybe.

>6 abysswalker: thank you so much! I emailed Island rare books and they said 'Sadly Maremagnum's (Italian) website suffers from a bug and is well out of date. Our last copy of the FS 'Room' was sold some time ago.' The search continues...

It first appeared in the 2017 Autumn collection. I bought my copy at the end of December 2019 as part of the New Year sale.

I've been also looking out for this edition since reading "A boy at the Hogarth Press" about a year ago. What makes it more attractive is that the cover is the same as the first edition's dust jacket - printed in 1929 at Woolf's Hogarth Press
