Hey guys I wanna put together a list of books that are "page-turners" so give me some books that have kept you on the edge of your seat or you just couldn't put down. It could be from any genre (and can be nonfiction too)!

There's already a list regarding this that I've found so far:

>3 gilroy: That description is strangely narrow considering the name of the list: "Books about illegal drugs, drug trafficking, use, and abuse."

>3 gilroy: Thanks for this! I still encourage others to list any here that may not be on the list :)

The only book I ever read in one night, cover to cover because it was so thrilling, is Stephen Hawking's A Brief History of Time.

There are two I'd like to add from the thriller genre that don't seem to get much recognition but definitely deserve more.
Lying in Wait by Liz Nugent
A creeping psychological thriller about a respectable couple who have murdered a vulnerable young woman and the slow unravelling of their lives and lives of those they will never meet.
The Maidens by Alex Michaelides
A recently widowed woman goes to Cambridge University to help her niece whose friend was recently murdered on campus. She becomes convinced in the guilt of a highly-influential professor and decides to conduct an investigation herself only to discover far more than she bargained for.

>7 Gail.C.Bull: - I haven't read The Maidens yet, but I think his book The Silent Patient would fit in here.

>8 dudes22: I just finished The Silent Patient. Both books are a enthralling read. He's definitely an author to watch.

>2 Cecrow: After reading The Princess Bride, I would recommend watching the movie as well.
