Hibernator's Categories

Bearbeitet: Nov. 15, 2021, 10:23am

Hi! My name is Rachel, 41 year old mom of 3. D11 and M9 are my stepkids. IL2 is my son with my husband Aaron. I live in Minnesota, USA. I am aiming to read 75 books this year (but at least 60!). I mainly listen to audiobooks since my ability to concentrate on reading has waned in recent years. I have 9 categories, which can overlap. This is my first time trying a category challenge for a couple of years.

Happy Reading! I've just started getting into audio books and hope to fit in some more next year.

Hope your reading and your year in general is a great one! I love audiobooks. I listen to one while doing chores and even just checking email and stuff on the computer.

Happy Reading! It is understandable that your reading concentration has waned when you have three youngsters! Thank goodness for audiobooks!

Welcome back! I'm hoping to start getting into audiobooks too (have asked Santa for the appropriate technology!). Good luck with your challenge!

Welcome back. So many of us are planning to read our own books next year. Good luck to all of us!

A great selection of categories! I'm always looking for audiobook recs so will be interested to find out what you're reading :)

I have the opposite - I can't concentrate on audio books! Looking forward to seeing what you choose though. I've been wanting to try Neil Gaiman's Sandman in audio as there are some big names involved and it looks like it might be more of an audio play...

Love the photo. I am in Minnesota also.

Dropping a star, Rachel!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by! I'll pop by everyone's threads today.

Although I liked the categories I picked, I have become concerned that I should focus more on my goal to read my own books. So I'm narrowing them down.

>27 The_Hibernator: I usually do that in retrospect!

Good luck with your reading plans, Rachel!

>27 The_Hibernator: Good idea to narrow down categories if you need to. I'll be cheering you on to read your own books as I attempt to read my own!
