Some questions pertaining to the literary content of certain LEC/Heritage books

I had some questions pertaining to the literary content of a few LEC/Heritage books.

1. Confessions of an English Opium eater: Does the content of the LEC/Heritage book correspond to the original 1821 edition or to the revised 1856 edition?

2. Sister Carrie: Does the content of the LEC/Heritage edition correspond to the book originally written by Dreiser (it has been published now and is known as the Pennsylvania edition I believe), or to the censored version which is how the book was originally published.

By the way, some of you have known me as blue.eyes. My computer died, and since I had not registered my email with librarything the support staff at librarything informed me that my account is not retrievable for security reasons and advised me to get a new account. My email (which I have used to communicate with some of the members here) remains the same. This time I have registered my email at this site.

>1 blue.eyes2: I have the Folio Society Confessions which has considerably more text than the LEC. Thus I conclude the LEC is the original. (P.S., the illustrations by Zhenya Gay are unmatchable.)
(P.P.S. This is one of the few books where I have both the LEC and the NYC HP, previously acquired and which suffers only just a little by comparison.)

>1 blue.eyes2: The LEC Opium Eater states it contains the text originally written by De Quincey in 1821.
