I just added the book "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks" (Rebecca Skloot), which I really liked. When I looked at the reviews of the book, I found multiple entries of the same reviews and number of stars. Although I like this book and ranked it highly myself, I don't think it's right that star averages should be inflated by multiple postings from the same person. Can't Library Thing recognize this issue and delete repeated entries?

Sometimes duplicates happen by accident when a user is importing their catalog from another site or source. The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks has 12,000 copies and 700 reviews so I don't think a few accounts with multiple copies is going to inflate much. (The most recent duplicate reviews give it 4 stars as opposed to the average of 4.16 so technically they are deflating the average.)

I'm guilty of several repeat reviews, since I have some books in more than one copy and also in more than one language. As >2 norabelle414: says, this is probably just a drop in the ocean and can just be ignored.
