February 2022 Group Challenge

For February, let's read a book with some aspect of romance or love in it. 1001 books aren't really known for their 'romance' as such, but a book with a love story of some sort (whether dysfunctional or not!)

Just started Of Love and Shadows by Isabel Allende for this challenge.

I read Giovanni's Room by James Baldwin for this challenge. It's the story of an American man living in Paris and experimenting with his sexuality. He's in love with a young man named Giovanni but bound to a woman and lifestyle that he is scared to give up. Baldwin is a fantastic writer who has impressive command over the English language.
