Somebody merged 2 series that are not the same, how to revert?

The series Malko is a translation of the French series "SAS" by author Gérard de Villiers.
They have to be kept seperate because the numbers are different e.g. SAS 134 has translation Malko 129.
But not they have been merged to Malko only. It's a total mess now. Is therev a possibility to revert this mistake?

Technically, same series just different translations should be one series not two. Just different groups listed within the same series. However, if they are significantly different enough, they can be listed as separate.

Looks like this is the dead series, which if you go to the page, there is a link to click to bring it back to life:

OK, thx. I'm quite sure that a series with different numbering should be kept separate, since you can't assign diff values.

>3 Indy133: You can if you can place them in different groups. It isn't like the old series in Common Knowledge. If it's the same book, but a different number, that is a bit different.

>4 gilroy: It is the same book but with a different number kind of thing here - that’s what we have the “is a renumbering of” relationship for. I wonder if the initial merge was not because the two series have the same name and someone missed the difference.
