May 2022: What are you reading?

What 1001 books are you reading for the month of May?

I just started Uncle Silas last night.

I plan to read The Shipyard for the monthly group read, and something for the monthly challenge celebrating Africa Day.

I have a few on the list - whether I will get to them all, hmmmm!

Around The World In 80 Days - currently halfway through.
Wild Swans - the May read in the 1001 discord group
Alias Grace, The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, Hard Times - I have just joined an A-Z Classics group, so need to catch up on A,B, and C!
Pride and Prejudice - another classics group
Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah Equiano - May group challenge on this group

I have no illusions that I will read all of these!

I have tried to find The Shipyard but for some reason in Australia, you can purchase the Spanish edition for a reasonable price but the English edition is $60. Not sure why?

I'm reading The Black Prince.

Currently I am reading and enjoying Excellent Women by Barbara Pym.
