Who else remembers that surreal was Word of the Year in 2016?

I keep thinking that as disturbing as the USA is now, at least I'm no longer asking myself through the day every day "Is this real? This can't be real, can it? Don't more people know better than this? We're not in a dystopian novel?"

I am fortunate to have moved into the Napa Valley before it became popular. The other morning I witnessed a "Napa Eclipse" A balloon crossed in front of the setting moon.

We didn’t finish what was there and hesitated to just leave it out and didn’t know storage protocols. So we took the rest home with us. Cake, rice Krispy treats, and brownies. Sorry, all I have left is the brownies now.

I'm at a conference in Rome and the sweet cake type snacks they serve during coffee breaks are really good.

Specifically, Coca Cola Cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream at Cracker Barrel restaurant.

And, no, you don't have to be a "cracker" to eat at CB since there are locations in 45 states now.
